Capitol Broadcasting Company Selects Synergy Commercial Advisors as its Exclusive Project Marketing and Leasing Representative for American Tobacco Campus

MORRISVILLE, N.C. – (April 7, 2010) – Capitol Broadcasting Company has selected Synergy Commercial Advisors as its exclusive project marketing and leasing representative for American Tobacco Campus. Mac Hammer and Doug Cook will lead the ATC's Synergy team.

“To say that we are enthusiastic about the assignment to lease the top corporate Triangle destination would be an understatement. American Tobacco has been the keystone of Downtown Durham’s growth and offers amenities and aesthetics that just aren’t found anywhere else,” offered Cook.

American Tobacco Campus is located beside the Durham Bulls Triple-A baseball park, adjacent to the new 2,800-seat Durham Performing Arts Center, bordered by the highly traveled NC-147 and within an easy drive of RDU International Airport. The campus features an on-site YMCA, public green space and biking trails, and restaurants. American Tobacco is home to some of the region's most prominent organizations, including the nationally recognized WUNC-FM, Duke University and Burt's Bees. Rich in history dating back to the 19th century, the campus offers aesthetically pleasing timber, brick and glass finishes for its office and retail tenants.

American Tobacco’s design and landscaping has collected industry awards for Best Mixed Use Development, Best Renovated Commercial Property, and Best Redevelopment Project.
