Richard began his commercial real estate career in 1996 and now works in tenant representation and on select investment sales transactions. He has completed over 550 commercial lease transactions and is widely regarded as one of the premier tenant representation brokers in the Raleigh/Durham commercial real estate market. Richard utilizes his diverse background in writing, communications and information technology to offer efficient and comprehensive service to his clients. He has a strong reputation for integrity and aggressive advocacy with large, publicly traded companies as well as venture-backed start-up companies, and has demonstrated an uncanny ability to overcome significant market obstacles on behalf of his clients. Rich and his wife, Tracy, reside in Chapel Hill.
Dave is an eight year veteran of the US Air Force and nine year veteran of the commercial real estate industry. While in the service, Dave focused on streamlining base operations through the application of information technology to drive efficiencies. Upon his honorable discharge from the service, Dave joined regional real estate firm Drucker & Falk. In less than four years, Dave worked up from a position in maintenance department at an apartment community to become the Director of Information Technology and Web Services at a company that employed more than 1,000 people. He has exceptional technology skills and a wide-range of organizational and human resource capabilities. Dave is a high-energy, enthusiastic force in the office that single-handedly compels office culture toward unity and positivism. Dave, his wife, Wendy, and their children, Ally and Adam, reside in Cary.
Doug joined Synergy Commercial Advisors in 2009 bringing with him a diverse background in investment sales, engineering, building design and construction. Having recently graduated with his MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School with dual concentrations in Real Estate and Finance, he brings a macro-level, asset-focused perspective to the firm and its corporate clients. Doug focuses primarily on landlord representation, investment sales and project marketing services and he is poised to bring significant value to clients through his persistent focus on client satisfaction and an unparalleled work ethic. Doug and his wife, Bridget, reside in Durham.
Kevin joined Synergy Commercial Advisors in 2008 to continue his focus on tenant representation and project marketing services. Before joining Synergy, Kevin worked at Grubb Properties, a local developer with a portfolio of office and retail properties in excess of one million square feet in North Carolina. Kevin has earned a reputation as a reliable and trusted provider of commercial real estate services to individuals, corporate users and institutional owners/investors. Kevin’s historical experience representing both landlords and tenants gives him significant expertise to better serve his clients. He is an alum of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he played baseball. Kevin currently resides in Raleigh with his wife, Jenny, and their daughters, McCain and Anna Charles.
Licensed since 1983, Jim Flink’s 27-year investment sales career has focused primarily on the acquisition and disposition of raw land, apartment communities and income producing properties. He is considered one of the foremost experts on the Raleigh-Durham apartment market, having brokered the sale or land of more than 25 apartment communities throughout his career. His knowledge of the multi-family industry has resulted in Jim doing extensive work for national companies such as Hanover, Summit Properties, Fairfield, and Trammell Crow. In addition, Jim has brokered numerous shopping center sites as well as office parks such as The Quadrangle and Capital Center. He played golf at West Virginia University and continues to compete in golf tournaments. He resides in Cary with his wife, Nancy.
Mac Hammer specializes in tenant representation, corporate services and investment sales and represents a diverse group of local and regional clientele. As a commercial specialist, he is responsible for the pursuit and development of long-term business relationships with clients seeking to relocate, expand or consolidate their operations throughout the state. After entering the commercial real estate industry in 2005, Mac quickly made his mark and was among the top producers at the local office of GVA Advantis by 2007. Mac is a former All-American lacrosse player at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Mac, his wife, Julie, and their sons Ryan and Nick reside in Chapel Hill.
Robert Hoyt began his brokerage career in 2003 after being in the facilities industry from more than 15 years. Robert’s primary focus is on investment sales, tenant representation and project marketing services. He also has experience in agency representation and has extensive experience in each of the office, flex and warehouse product types. Robert’s investment expertise includes the development of detailed client-specific market studies, providing lease financial analysis, lease vs. purchase analysis, and customized cash flow models for purchase options. Robert, his wife, Amber, son, Rob, and daughter, Macy, reside in Raleigh.
Licensed since 1977, Jerry Levit has focused his 30+ year career on investment property
and land acquisition and disposition. He co-founded one of the first multi-disciplinary,
third-party commercial real estate service providers in the Raleigh-Durham market, Vanguard Associates, in 1987. He has been involved in the assemblage of land for a
number of mixed-use projects and planned communities, most notably The Streets at
SouthPoint, Dogwood Ridge and Auburn. Jerry has significant experience working with
both buyers and sellers on commercial real estate investment properties throughout the
Triangle. Jerry and his wife, Kristine Kelsey, reside in Graham.
Wendy joins Synergy Commercial Advisors as Director of Retail Services. She brings more than 11 years of commercial real estate experience in both the Raleigh/Durham and Wilmington markets, with an extensive background in commercial brokerage, marketing and research. As a native of Raleigh, Wendy brings significant local market experience and insight, as well as an understanding of the national retail landscape. Additionally, she has participated in numerous investment sales transactions, representing both buyers and sellers. Her agency experience includes tenant representation of local and national clients and project marketing and leasing services for retail developers. Wendy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Professional Communications from Meredith College in Raleigh.
Bill Peebles has built a 12-year investment sales career brokering raw land, commercial buildings, and apartments. After entering the commercial real estate industry in 1998 with Advantis, he has specialized in land acquisition and disposition for regional home builders and developers in the Triangle area, as well as other high growth areas of North Carolina. Bill has also worked on behalf of JDH Capital and Eckerd Drugs (now Rite-Aid) in locating and securing multiple sites in the Raleigh MSA for freestanding drugstore locations. He has completed the sale of numerous office buildings, most recently Cedar West and Aspen for $9M. He also has extensive experience assisting retail developers in locating sites for grocery-anchored centers in Holly Springs, Garner, Fuquay-Varina, and Durham.
Michelle comes with four years of experience as lead administrator for a real estate team that closed in excess of $5M in gross revenues since her arrival. She is an extremely effective project manager and brings a wide array of organizational and technology skills to the firm. Michelle has demonstrated exceptional work ethic, leadership and willingness to take on additional roles in an effort to drive the success of the firm. Michelle and her husband, Jim, reside in Raleigh.
Hannah joined Synergy in 2009. Having recently graduated from East Carolina University with a B.S. in Finance, she spent the last year traveling and working abroad as a real estate intern in Playa Hermosa,
Costa Rica. Hannah’s technical expertise and organizational skill set are both assets to the firm and its brokers. She currently resides in Raleigh.
